NEPSI ACHIEVEMENTS
The European Network for Silica (NEPSI) is the first European multi-sectoral social dialogue agreement of its kind signed by the employers and employees organisations of 19 industry sectors. Since the previous reporting, a new sector has joined the Agreement, the plaster and plaster products manufacturers (Eurogypsum) representing 11.350 workers. The Agreement is always open to new signatories

HSC is a voluntary initiative to promote guidelines and best practices to protect workers from exposure to respiratory crystalline silica, which can occur during the fabrication and installation processes of stone products containing silica when adequate safety measures are lacking.
These guidelines are not meant to replace regulations, but rather to complement existing standards and support employers to comply with them. If you would like to know more about the initiative, please take a look at our manifesto
